Clipman

Clipman is a free, open-source, accessible clipboard manager for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iPhone, and iPad. It supports searchable history, text, links, formatting and images, optional encrypted cross-device sync through Clipman Server, and screen-reader-first workflows.

Clipman is an accessible clipboard manager for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iPhone, and iPad. It keeps useful text, links, formatting, images, and desktop file events close at hand without turning clipboard history into a mouse-first workflow.

History is a working list. You can search it, name entries, arrange them, group them, pin important clips, edit mistakes, preserve formatting, and return a saved item to the clipboard. Desktop users can assign global Quick Paste shortcuts, while Quick Clip lets desktop and mobile users create a saved entry without copying it in another app first.

Clipman is designed for keyboard and screen-reader use. Controls expose useful names, roles, states, and values. History lists support quick movement, search, type-to-jump navigation, and concise screen-reader speech.

Privacy and synchronization are optional. Clipman can encrypt history with a password, ignore selected applications, honor supported private-clipboard signals, and exclude likely sensitive values from automatic capture. Clipman Server can synchronize encrypted history among supported clients. The server stores encrypted database blobs but does not receive the history password or decrypt clipboard contents.

The Clipman 3.0 project release adds optional sync channels that can route clips by group, source device, or embedded images. Channels organize transfers, but they are not separate access-control boundaries. Update every participating device to a compatible release before enabling sync rules.
